Finally, the third group of foods that should be present in the snack is fruit. They are rich in vitamins, which is good for the proper physiological functioning, and fiber, essential for helping the intestinal transit.

To get the child used to choose among these options, the creativity of parents plays an important role, as it surely will be guided by the little things that pleases the eye, and of course the taste. So one day the snack could be a bowl of cereal with milk and a piece of fruit, and the other could be a fruit yogurt, a sandwich and juice.

Avoid industrial products
Nutritionists believe that the child’s snack is very important, since it covers 15% of daily nutrient intake. Still, many parents downplay the food provided in this habit.
